Neck pain & headaches · Redditch
Neck pain that makes checking your blind spot painful. Tension headaches that build through the afternoon. Stiffness that sets in at a desk. These are treatable problems, not things to manage around.
Book Your AssessmentCommon causes
The neck is a complex structure bearing the weight of the head and managing constant movement throughout the day. It is also one of the areas most affected by sustained posture, screen time, stress, and the physical demands of sport and training.
Common drivers of neck pain include joint restriction in the cervical spine, muscle tension and trigger points in the upper back and shoulder girdle, disc-related problems, and referred pain from the thoracic spine. Headaches that originate from the neck are known as cervicogenic headaches and are extremely common, often misdiagnosed as tension or migraine-type headaches.
Reece assesses the neck in the context of the whole upper body, including the thoracic spine and shoulder girdle, to find what is contributing to the problem and address it properly.
