Your Osteopath
BOst (Hons), GOsC Registered Osteopath practising in Redditch. Specialising in sports injuries, strength training, and musculoskeletal conditions.
Background & Qualifications
Reece's route into osteopathy began on the mat. At 16, a Thai boxing injury introduced him to hands-on healthcare, and it made an impression. He saw how structural assessment and manual therapy could do what rest alone could not, and that experience shaped the direction of his career.
He trained first as a sports massage therapist, working with active adults and athletes and building an understanding of how people who train think about their bodies and their recovery. He went on to complete a full degree in osteopathy, graduating with a BOst (Hons) in 2024.
Reece is registered with the General Osteopathic Council (GOsC No. 11674) and a member of the Institute of Osteopathy. He practises structural osteopathy, with a particular focus on sports injuries, load-related presentations, and the kinds of musculoskeletal problems that develop from training hard over time.
His patient base in Redditch includes powerlifters, gym-goers, martial artists, strength and conditioning athletes, and people involved in racket and field sports. He works with patients who want to understand what is happening in their body and return to training with a clear plan, not just a list of things to avoid.
Clinical focus
Acute and chronic sports injuries from contact sports, lifting, racket sports, running, and field sports. Assessment, diagnosis, and treatment with a return-to-sport focus.
Back pain, hip impingement, shoulder problems, and tendon issues related to heavy lifting. Treatment planned around your programming, not against it.
Reece has a background in Thai boxing. He understands the demands of striking sports, grappling, and the cumulative load that combat training places on the body.
Back pain, neck pain, sciatica, headaches, and joint problems for active adults and those with no sporting background. Structural assessment and hands-on treatment.
New patient assessments available online. Most patients are seen within the week.
